For too long Christianity has insisted skepticism is an enemy of faith when it is a vital tool for a healthy, mature faith. It is also essential because of the way the human brain works, as I explain in the book. This is not a book promoting doubt. Just the opposite. It is a book that makes the case for a reasoned, thoughtful, and reliable faith precisely because it embraces the kind of questions a skeptical mind asks in the pursuit of truth.
