In the mean time, I want to recommend a NY Times article by David Brooks I read a couple of weeks ago entitled, “I won’t let Trump invade my brain” (https://www.nytimes.com/2023/06/15/opinion/trump-indictment-president.html)
I think it meets the standard of a MUST read for every American, an example of the caliber of journalism we see so little of these days. As you know, Brooks holds traditional conservative views on government and politics, but his op-eds are thoughtful and insightful. His writing helps me to maintain balance in regard to my own views that are usually the opposite of his.
I think this article is something quite special, worthy of a wide reading audience. I believe you will agree, and I hope you will share it with others in your own circle of influence.
